Why choose a High School program?
A high school program abroad offers the opportunity to develop academically, athletically, and personally in an international environment. You can transition to high school with a VMBO (pre-vocational secondary education) diploma, or during or after completing your HAVO (senior general secondary education) or VWO (pre-university education). You’ll attend classes at a renowned secondary school, meet students from all over the world, are hosted by a host-family or live on-campus and combine this with playing hockey at a competitive or competitive level. During your stay, you’ll learn to interact with new cultures, improve your language skills, and develop a strong foundation for future academic or career choices. You’ll also make lifelong friends—often on the hockey field, where sports and culture converge. Furthermore, a high school year is the perfect way to experience a new culture, as you often live with a host family or at a boarding school where you’ll be immersed in daily life.
