Every year we help about 50 hockey talents find their ideal place in America, where sports and study come together perfectly. We listen carefully to your wishes and set up a tailor-made plan. We do this in close consultation with you and your parents, so that everyone is involved in the process.

During the search we communicate quickly and regularly, we take the paperwork and complex regulations of sports associations and educational institutions out of your hands, and we guide you step by step. Thanks to our personal and dedicated approach, HockeyKings has built a strong reputation within the American hockey and educational world.

This is how life will look like

Once you have arrived on campus you will be taken care of very well. Meanwhile, you will have access to the best facilities, incomparable with those in the Netherlands. As a student-athlete, you will be on the field every single day and practice at an incredibly high level. Together with the academic advisors of your school, you will make sure your classes are aligned with your sports and travel schedule. During the season, you will be playing against other appealing schools across the country. Too far to go by bus? Do not worry, you will get on a plane instead!

Earn your Scholarship

Life as a student-athlete in America is a dream, but the costs can be high: on average between $30,000 and $60,000 per year. The good news? With your talent, you can qualify for a scholarship that will (partly) cover these costs. Athletic scholarships in the US are awarded to hockey players who make a valuable contribution to their team. This makes studying in America financially feasible and gives you the chance to combine your athletic career with academic goals.
